01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located conveniently at 164 Linwood Ave in Colchester, CT, Dunkin' offers a vibrant blend of classic American breakfast favorites and expertly crafted coffee beverages that make it a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. Specializing in coffee, bagels, bakery items, and fast breakfast fare, this Dunkin' location delivers both convenience and quality, whether you’re grabbing a quick takeout or enjoying a casual breakfast sit-down.

The menu is a delightful tapestry of flavors that awaken your senses with every bite and sip. For coffee enthusiasts, the Frozen Drinks category is a real treat—highlighted by the Caramel Creme Frozen Coffee, a smooth and creamy blend infused with caramel and vanilla, topped with luscious whipped cream, a caramel drizzle, and a subtle dusting of cinnamon sugar. Equally enticing is the Triple Mocha Frozen Coffee, rich in chocolatey mocha flavor, crowned with whipped cream and a decadent mocha drizzle sprinkled with hot chocolate powder. These drinks provide a refreshing and indulgent pick-me-up on any day.

Breakfast lovers will find savory bites that balance robust flavors with satisfying textures. The Bacon-Topped Avocado Toast is a standout: toasted sourdough bread generously layered with creamy avocado spread, crispy crumbled bacon, and finished with everything bagel seasoning that adds both a savory bite and aromatic depth. For a simpler yet equally delicious option, the classic Avocado Toast is fresh and creamy, enlivened by the seasoning’s savory crunch. If you're looking to fuel up with protein, the Bacon & Cheddar Omelet Bites offer a perfectly cooked sous vide casserole packed with cage-free eggs, savory bacon, and sharp cheddar, making for a hearty yet neatly portioned start to your day.

The snack and sides menu rounds out the experience with warm, comforting offerings such as Ham & Swiss Croissant Stuffers—flaky and buttery pastries filled with savory ham and melted Swiss cheese—and Stuffed Bagel Minis served warm, filled with rich cream cheese—choose either plain or everything seasoning to cater to your taste preferences. And who could forget the crispy, lightly seasoned hash browns that add a golden, crunchy complement to any breakfast plate.

The atmosphere here is casual and inviting, favored by those needing quick service without sacrificing warmth and friendliness. Customers like Stephen Vasseur praise the attentive and cheerful staff, noting how the team expertly remembers orders and serves with genuine smiles multiple times a day. Though some have experienced occasional hiccups, particularly during busy periods such as Sundays, the staff's earnest efforts to make it right shine through—a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Another highlight that sets this location apart is its lesser-seen drive-thru option, which offers efficient service for those on the go. Jeff Fox’s experience perfectly captures this, praising the smooth and wait-free flow, ideal for busy mornings when every moment counts.

While some feedback indicates room for improvement in temperature and order accuracy—such as Bianca Jones’ note about lukewarm bagel sandwiches or Eileen Booker’s experience with mixed-up orders—the overall consensus reflects a dependable and welcoming local Dunkin’ where the aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods is always inviting. Paul Kelley’s remarks on fresh, delicious donuts coupled with prompt, smiley service encapsulate the friendly vibe customers can expect.

In sum, Dunkin' at 164 Linwood Ave is more than just a convenient breakfast stop; it’s a space where familiar flavors meet attentive service, creating moments of comfort whether you’re fueling a busy day or just enjoying a sweet pause. For lovers of coffee, bagels, and classic American breakfast bites, it’s a warm and dependable oasis in Colchester’s dining scene.

Bagel sandwich was barely warm, cheese didn't even melt. The quality was fine, just the temperature was off.

They need help on Sunday badly. Got my order all mixed up and fixed the drink to find out later the wrong donuts too. They were very pleasant even with all the mess up you can tell they were trying real hard.

I've never seen a drive-thru, only Dunkin' Donuts. So this was a first. I had to drive around the building to confirm I wasn't imagining it. I was quite surprised, but I guess it makes sense. There was no line or waiting while I was there, and the service was good. If you're in a hurry, then this might be perfect for you.

Best DD in the area. Conveniently located off of rte. 2. Drive thru only makes for a quicker in and out. I place mobile orders and pick up. My orders are always correct, coffee is consistent, bagels and other bread products are appropriately toasted, appropriate amount of cream cheese, pastry’s are fresh, service is fantastic, friendly and fast! Thank you!!

Staff very friendly. Was a little upset in the beginning when my daughter and I got to our little picnic spot because when I fixed my sandwich the egg was ice cold. I only drove about a mile from (Dunks to get there, so I wasn't because I took too long before I was going to eat it). I went right back to the store and they didn't ask any questions, made a new one, and apologized numerous times. I really appreciated that there was no feeling of tension like you would normally get because you had a complaint. That is why I gave them a 5.. Great customer service guys!!
